TIANLI CM5 Selected for China’s First
25-Tonne Autonomous Underground LHD

Recently, the TIANLI 40/65-39-42 CONSTRUCTION MINING L-5 (CM5) ultra-deep-tread tire was selected for OE fitment on China’s first 25-tonne autonomous underground load-haul-dump (LHD) machine. The fitment demonstrates the CM5’s capability to meet the demanding requirements of next-generation mining equipment and further reinforces TIANLI’s position in mining and construction tire applications.

The TIANLI 40/65-39-42 CM5 is specifically engineered for intensive loading and mining applications. Its ultra-deep tread is approximately 2.5 times the depth of a standard tread, providing additional rubber volume for long service life in severe operating conditions.
A wide footprint, large gear-shaped tread blocks and a specialised cut-resistant compound provide strong traction while enhancing resistance to cutting, wear and tearing. The robust tread design also helps maintain stable performance under heavy loads and repeated operating cycles.
Designed for open-pit mines, quarries and other demanding applications, the CM5 combines durability, traction and damage resistance to help reduce tire-related downtime and support continuous, efficient equipment operation.
